Springtail Food

A fine powdered food developed for springtail cultures.

Holy-Poly Springtail Food is a concentrated supplemental food designed for practical use in springtail starter and master cultures. Its fine texture makes it easy to distribute in very small amounts without overwhelming a culture.

The current blend was developed and used by HPI during springtail culture testing, including White Springtails (Folsomia candida).

Feeding Directions:
Sprinkle a very small amount directly onto the culture surface. Start with a light dusting and feed again after most of the previous food has been consumed. Larger, established cultures may require slightly more food than small starter cultures.

Avoid overfeeding. Excess food left in wet culture conditions can encourage mold, mites, fungus gnats, or unwanted buildup.

Size: 2 oz by weight

Ingredients: Proprietary blend of finely milled grains, nutritional yeast, natural botanical material, and bee-derived ingredients.
