HPI Calcium Clay is our dry springtail culture medium for building starter cultures, master cultures, and backup cultures without guessing at the setup.

Pick what you need: a ready-to-mix master culture cup, a bulk refill pouch, empty culture cups, or breathable vent tape.

8 oz Master Culture Cup + Clay Powder
Comes with one heavy-duty 8 oz deli cup + lid and a separate pre-measured packet of Calcium Clay. Simply hydrate, mix, and seed with springtails! Instructions included.

1 lb Calcium Clay Refill Pouch
Bulk dry Calcium Clay in a resealable pouch for making or refreshing multiple cultures.

8 oz Empty Culture Cup + Lid
Need more cultures without another full kit? Grab the cups, add some clay, and build your own.

Breathable Vent Tape Roll
Use it to cover a small ventilation hole. Approximately 10 yards per roll.

Complete the setup: Add a live springtail starter culture and feed with Holy-Poly Springtail Food.
