Whiteouts are a bright white color morph of Porcellionides pruinosus (also known as Powder White). They're fast moving, fast breeding and always busy, and that clean white color looks stunning against dark substrate, leaf litter, moss and cork bark.
Origin: Native to southern Europe and the Mediterranean region, Whiteouts are a color morph of Porcellionides pruinosus.
HPI Preferred Habitat Targets: 70–80°F; supporting relative humidity around 60–75%; maintain a clear moisture gradient with roughly one-third to one-half of the substrate moist and the remainder progressively drier, plus good ventilation. Provide a moist sphagnum or hydration retreat and avoid keeping the entire enclosure saturated. Recommended substrate depth 2-3".
Diet: Their primary diet should consist of plenty of decaying leaf litter, rotting hardwood, and a quality calcium source. Supplement with quality isopod food, organic vegetables, fruits, and protein offered in moderation.
Reproduction: Fast, Highly Prolific (Typical brood size: 20-30).
Perfect For: Beginner keepers, bioactive enclosures, reptile keepers, feeder colonies, classrooms, and families.

- Isopods will be various sizes.
Many isopod distributors offer starter cultures of specific counts (5, 6, 8, 10 counts, etc.). We have found that some clients want 1 isopod while others prefer 20+. We have made the decision to sell isopods on a per price basis to assist with your custom-built starter cultures.

- When sending 'Live Animals' we may delay your shipment due to Holiday schedules, weather conditions at your location or ours, or other.
- We provide Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) Shipping through our strategic shipping partners and policies.

- You are responsible for ensuring their safe indoor delivery promptly or arranging a Hold for Pickup with our Shipping Partner (picking up same day).
