Welcome to the world of Panda King Isopods, a unique and rare species originating from the humid caves of Vietnam. These isopods are a sight to behold, often only seen at reptile conventions before disappearing back into their shy nature. But fear not, as we have them available for purchase right here!
These isopods make for an excellent Clean-Up Crew in your terrarium, but like many Cubaris species, they prefer to remain hidden. To create the perfect habitat for them, we recommend a high humidity (65-80%) tropical environment with increased ventilation. Keep the temperature between 70-78°F and maintain a substrate depth of 3-4 inches.
When it comes to food, these isopods are not picky eaters. Their main source of diet should consist of leaf litter and decaying wood, but they also enjoy limestone for calcium. For a well-rounded diet, try supplementing with algae, organic fruits, veggies, or other pesticide-free plant material.
One of the most fascinating things about Panda King Isopods is their rapid reproduction rate, with a brood size of approximately 2-10. So not only will you have a unique and beautiful addition to your terrarium, but you'll also have a thriving colony in no time.

Many isopod distributors offer starter cultures of specific counts (5, 6, 8, 10 counts, etc.). We have found that some clients want 1 isopod while others prefer 20+. We have made the decision to sell isopods on a per price basis to assist with your custom-built starter cultures.

- When selecting a local meetup, we will email you to arrange date/time.

FREE SHIPPING
- Orders of $99+ are eligible for complimentary shipping.
- The shipping service will be determined by Holy-Poly Isopods (regardless of shipping selection).
SHIPPING LIVE ANIMALS
- As a USDA APHIS Permitted shipping facility, we use our current PPQ-526 permits to ship within the Continental U.S.
- When sending 'Live Animals' we may delay your shipment due to Holiday schedules, weather conditions at your location or ours, or other.
- We provide Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) Shipping through our strategic shipping partners and policies.
- Review and understand our LAG Policy for safe delivery.
- You are responsible for ensuring their safe indoor delivery promptly or arranging a Hold for Pickup with our Shipping Partner (picking up same day).
