Some isopods are named after their colors. Pak Chongs are named after their hometown.
Located in Thailand is the impressive district of Pak Chong. This species is said to be found in caves there, and was named after the area. They're known in the hobby for a grey-blue body, white sides, and a red face and tail, which is a pretty bold outfit for a cave dweller.
Origin: Pak Chong, Thailand.
HPI Preferred Habitat Targets: 74–79°F; supporting relative humidity around 75–85%; maintain deep, consistently humid substrate with a reliable damp zone and a smaller, less-wet refuge. Use low-to-moderate ventilation and avoid sealing the enclosure completely or allowing the substrate to become waterlogged. Recommended moist substrate depth 2-3"+.
Diet: As with most isopod species, their main diet should be lots of leaf litter, decaying wood and a calcium supply. Supplement with organic fresh veggies & protein.
Reproduction: Moderate
Perfect For: Cubaris collectors, humid bioactive enclosures, and display terrariums.

- Isopods will be various sizes.
Many isopod distributors offer starter cultures of specific counts (5, 6, 8, 10 counts, etc.). We have found that some clients want 1 isopod while others prefer 20+. We have made the decision to sell isopods on a per price basis to assist with your custom-built starter cultures.

- As a USDA APHIS Permitted shipping facility, we use our current PPQ-526 permits to ship within the Continental U.S.
- When sending 'Live Animals' we may delay your shipment due to Holiday schedules, weather conditions at your location or ours, or other.
- We provide Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) Shipping through our strategic shipping partners and policies.
