Orange Creams are a color morph of Porcellionides pruinosus with a soft blend of creamy white and warm orange. They're fast moving, fast breeding and always busy, which makes them one of the most dependable clean-up crews for bioactive enclosures, and a pretty one too.
Origin: Native to southern Europe and the Mediterranean region, Orange Creams are a color morph of Porcellionides pruinosus.
HPI Preferred Habitat Targets: 70–80°F; supporting relative humidity around 60–75%; maintain a clear moisture gradient with roughly one-third to one-half of the substrate moist and the remainder progressively drier, plus good ventilation. Provide a moist sphagnum or hydration retreat and avoid keeping the entire enclosure saturated. Recommended substrate depth 2-3".
Diet: Their primary diet should consist of plenty of decaying leaf litter and rotting hardwood. They also benefit from a quality calcium source, along with supplemental foods including quality isopod diets, vegetables, fruits, and protein offered in moderation.
Reproduction: Fast, Highly Prolific (Typical brood size: 20-30).
Perfect For: Beginner keepers, bioactive enclosures, reptile keepers, classrooms, and display terrariums.

Many isopod distributors offer starter cultures of specific counts (5, 6, 8, 10 counts, etc.). We have found that some clients want 1 isopod while others prefer 20+. We have made the decision to sell isopods on a per price basis to assist with your custom-built starter cultures.
