Origins: Here are our Japanese line of Magic Potions. They were produced from a breeder in Japan. They tend to be slightly smaller with yellow spots rather than large, blotched streaks (like the American line). Fairly passive species that proved to be a good Clean-Up Crew.

Habitat: Prefers room-temp, medium humidity with lots of ventilation. Ensure they have their hydration station setup in a corner (moist sphagnum moss). Recommended substrate depth 2-3"+.

Food: As with most isopod species their main source of diet should be lots of leaf litter, decaying wood, and calcium supply. Supplement with organic fresh veggies

Reproduction: Both our American and Japanese lines of Magic Potions are prolific breeders (once established). Females have been known to breed several times per year and can start reproducing as early as 3-4 months old.
