Anemones are a color morph of Cubaris murina, originally collected in Florida, USA. Their coloring is wonderfully variable, so every culture has its own personality. Like many Cubaris, they're a little timid, but they settle in nicely in a humid setup.
Origin: A color morph of Cubaris murina, a widespread tropical species. This morph was originally collected in Florida, USA.
HPI Preferred Habitat Targets: 72–78°F; supporting relative humidity around 70–85%; keep roughly two-thirds of the substrate consistently moist with a smaller, less-wet zone and steady ventilation. Moist substrate should remain damp rather than saturated; avoid stale air and excessive heat. Recommended substrate depth 2-3".
Diet: As with most isopod species, their main diet should be lots of leaf litter, decaying wood and a calcium supply. Supplement with organic fresh veggies & protein (2x weekly).
Reproduction: Moderate (Brood size ~2-25)
Perfect For: First-time Cubaris keepers, humid bioactive enclosures, and anyone who likes a little variety.

Many isopod distributors offer starter cultures of specific counts (5, 6, 8, 10 counts, etc.). We have found that some clients want 1 isopod while others prefer 20+. We have made the decision to sell isopods on a per price basis to assist with your custom-built starter cultures.

FREE SHIPPING
- Orders of $99+ are eligible for complimentary shipping.
- The shipping service will be determined by Holy-Poly Isopods (regardless of shipping selection).
SHIPPING LIVE ANIMALS
- As a USDA APHIS Permitted shipping facility, we use our current PPQ-526 permits to ship within the Continental U.S.
- When sending 'Live Animals' we may delay your shipment due to Holiday schedules, weather conditions at your location or ours, or other.
- We provide Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) Shipping through our strategic shipping partners and policies.
- Review and understand our LAG Policy for safe delivery.
- You are responsible for ensuring their safe indoor delivery promptly or arranging a Hold for Pickup with our Shipping Partner (picking up same day).
