Les collemboles sont omnivores et se nourrissent de matières organiques en décomposition, de champignons et de certains types de moisissures dans votre terrarium ou votre installation bioactive. L'ajout d'une culture de démarrage de ces incroyables artistes du nettoyage avec vos isopodes contribue à un réservoir sain (et à moins de nettoyage pour vous-même).
Nos collemboles sont expédiés dans des conteneurs sur du papier absorbant humide pour éviter d'être écrasés pendant le transport. Des instructions sont fournies pour les extraire de l'emballage et dans l'enceinte de votre choix.

Unpacking your Springtails
We ship your springtails on a custom blend of Calcium Clay that is still moist.
To extract your springtails and continue culturing more into the desired enclosure:
1. Open the lid.
2. Pour the water/springtails into the desired enclosure "seeding the enclosure".
3. After seeding the enclosure, you can add 1 piece of raw rice to the starter cup.
4. Lightly mist the clay with room-temp water (the clay should remain moist but not flooded).
5. Close the lid and keep at room temperature (away from direct sunlight).
• Typically, the starter cultures have many microscopic babies. Repeat steps 1-5 to continually culture more springtails.

- As a USDA APHIS Permitted shipping facility, we use our current PPQ-526 permits to ship within the Continental U.S.
- When sending 'Live Animals' we may delay your shipment due to Holiday schedules, weather conditions at your location or ours, or other.
- We provide Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) Shipping through our strategic shipping partners and policies.
- Review and understand our LAG Policy for safe delivery.
- You are responsible for ensuring their safe indoor delivery promptly or arranging a Hold for Pickup with our Shipping Partner (picking up same day).
